It’s not stunning the PowerPoint became general tool in business world gives thanks to its quick to acquire, ready to bond video & audio and efficient to immediate ideas and concept. In today’s business boardroom, PowerPoint display is so main that it appears people are ineffective to give a clear presentation without a multi – graphic, text-heavy PowerPoint introduction backing up.
Is PowerPoint really a bless to all business someones?
Goes in business seeing for ten years, some time I was so self-defeating by individual empty demonstration full of all kind of modulation results, clipboard and video, which can all cause a visual chaos. Those people care too much about the visual aspect of their display trying hard to get audience’s care, somehow they do reach this but in a way against their real function – convey their ideas – that’s what a PowerPoint presentation is about and they just deflect people care by all the visual cliché. What a pity!
In my opinion, a PowerPoint introduction must touch its purpose. If you design a presentation for amusement, you can just go ahead to make a light-hearted, colorful, media-rich display, that’s all ok. But if you want create a business demonstration, the next principal you’d better stick to:
1. Keep it plain
As with any design, cut back the clutter. Stop ill-treat those uselessly transition and sound issues, such twists rarely heighten the message you’re trying to transmit other than deflect, dazzle your audiences.
2. Cut main text
PowerPoint display doubtlessly is positive medium for portraying an idea graphically or providing an overview, but you can’t make the presentation say for itself with a lasting, tardy instance, your interview will be tiresome to death. Keep instance short and to point.
3. Less needless Graphic
Like modulation and sound impressions, graphic will became the centered of focus, which in turn disorders audiences. Unless it is required, the less graphic are, the better the result is.
